DEVIL IN THE DETAIL
In looking at measures to control independence, corruption and political influence in Policing the devil in the detail is what ultimately defines its success of failure. In evaluating what lies behind Gerhard’s killing and the events in investigation that followed, shining a spotlight on the inuendo’s and subtleties, identifies the weaknesses that can be exploited and manipulated, especially through institutional corruption and, by all appearance of Gerhard’s case, criminal corruption.
To find the weaknesses and the individuals associated with it through links and behaviour, one has to look for and identify the devil in the detail.
Chapter 1 : The Aikens
This chapter focuses on Conservative Party Politicians, husband and wife, Alex and Nicki Aiken and lays down the question of influence and interference through proxy.
One would first need to identify their political worth, power, influence, associations and ambition before forming an opinion on their potential role in any aspect of Gerhard’s killing or the subsequent events that surround it.
In reviewing the Aikens against a backdrop of Conservative lust for power and greed, is to consider that in lust, the more it is savoured, the more it grows and knows no boundaries. Further too, in the circumstances of Gerhard’s killing versus especially, the events of the time, is to consider the power of threat.
Note: In this section, any reference to the contact in the park will be referred to as “PA” (Person A) and the Conservative Party official repeatedly referred to in Gerhard’s journal in the week of his killing, as “PB” (Person B).
Who is Alex and Nickie Aiken ?
Alex Aiken is arguably the power behind the couple’s rise to power and influence within the Conservative Party and the City of Westminster. Where he began and ended, she has followed.
Alex Aiken is a career Conservative Party influencer, both within the party and outside, being the public it woos and convinces for favour of votes and retention of power.His LinkedIn pages begins his Conservative Party career as Press Officer rising eventually rising to Head of News in 1999 to Conservative Party Deputy Director managing Campaigns to May 2000 when he then joined Westminster City Council as Director for Communications and Strategy for just short of 13 years which ended with him joining Government as Executive Director Communications in January 2013.
There are two significant principles relating to him:
1. His career is in the field of influence and reputation management.
2. He career has spanned significant periods of influence with Conservative Party, Government and the City of Westminster.
With his departure from Westminster City Council so began his wife’s career at the Council as listed on her LinkedIn page beginning October of the same year as Cabinet Member for Community Protection rising quickly through the ranks to take over as Council Leader (Conservative) in January 2017, just over three years later. Four years later, with Alex firmly entrenched in Government, with the strong visible support especially of Minister for Crime, Kit Malthouse, she was elected as MP for the Two Cities of Westminster and London and immediately thereafter, beginning her next stage of ambition into Government as a Parliamentary Private Secretary, the precursor for ambition towards Ministerial appointment; just over a year before Alex Aiken’s removal from his position as Head of Government Communications.
Together, they span a vast and substantial influence over the Conservative Party, Government and Westminster City Council.
Against the backdrop of Met Police refusal to investigate, officer’s subterfuge and outright lies and Met Police destruction of material evidence "by mistake"; at the time of Gerhard’s killing and throughout the period of investigation and inquisition, including the date on which the Westminster coroner ruled suicide, Nickie Aiken was Leader of Westminster City Council and Chairman of the West End Partnership, the shared area of government and business advocacy with “PB”.
In the month of the coroners ruling of suicide, December 2019, Nickie Aiken was elected as Conservative Party MP for the Two Cities of Westminster and London. In January 2020, having resigned as Leader of Westminster City Council to continue her role as MP, she was almost immediately appointed to a ministerial support role as Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) for Housing, Communities and Local Government under MP Robert Jenrick. In that role, she would be “subjected to some restrictions as outlined in the ministerial code of the British government", "are not members of the government” but have expenses paid by it. PPS’s are considered the “eyes and ears” of the ministers they serve and “is seen as a starting point for many MPs who aspire to become ministers themselves". It is a role that is personally approved by the Prime Minister, in this instance, Boris Johnson.
The above establishes links of material influence and association, through the conduit of Nickie Aiken, between:
• “PB” (Person B) and
• The Conservative Party • Westminster City Council • London’s Met Police • Westminster Coroner Services
All of which is elaborated upon in drilling down to reveal the devil in the detail of the conduit and link:
“PB” (Person B):
At this stage, I have not identified “PB” publicly to avoid pre-empting the section still to be written on the individual so intricately linked to Gerhard, Nickie Aiken, The Conservative Party, Government, “Met Police”, and London Business related to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals.
Nickie Aiken is substantially linked to “PB”, evidenced through her relationship with “PB” business partners and communications directly involving “PB”.
“PB” is significant in that, while his substantial link to Gerhard does not prove or disprove anything in Gerhard’s killing or subsequent cover up, “Met Police” determined efforts to ensure the investigation is swept under the carpet and the circumstances of the killing covered up, raises the significant and ominous question of why.
“PB”’s link to Gerhard and Gerhard’s vocal threats to expose him and others for drug dealing and drug supply by reporting them to the police, places “PB” under direct threat:
• from organised crime, the force behind the dealers selling Crystal Meth and GHB. A threat not only towards “PB” but anyone else also linked to drug use within the Conservative Party. Recent reports of evidence of extensive class A drug use in the toilets of the House of Commons stands as testimony to such threat.
• to the Conservative Party during one of the most contentious periods in British modern history: the 2019 elections and Brexit.
• to the ambitions of current Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Nickie Aiken who were both fighting substantial battles for the electorate to choose them respectively as Prime Minister and MP for Two Cities of Westminster and London.
• to the ambitions of the Conservative Party’s European Research Group (ERG) and the secret forces behind it in the final stand for a UK, independent of Europe.
Nickie Aiken’s substantial links to “PB” in one hand and in the other, the remaining links below it, positions her lucratively as a conduit of influence through proxy.
I am not an investigator and consequently cannot prove such assertion, hence it remains just that, as opposed to an accusation. I strongly assert the reasonable, plausible possibility in request for full, proper, independent and transparent investigation in support of the mountain of evidence indicating homicide as opposed to the coroner’s ruling of suicide.
Thus far, “Met Police” have obstructed, lied and done everything possible to prevent and deny such investigation.
Thus far, Coroner Shirley Radcliffe in her inquest process, in which she enjoys the protection of unaccountable power, has obstructed and denied the truth in Gerhard’s killing and I believe there to be reasonable grounds to assert there being evidence in her conduct of being complicit in “Met Police” efforts to cover up the circumstances of Gerhard’s killing through a kangaroo inquest.
Thus far, Senior Coroner Fiona Wilcox, Radcliffe’s manager and head of Westminster Coroner Services, has obstructed efforts in the fight for the truth in Gerhard’s killing and I believe there to be reasonable grounds to assert evidence in her conduct as being complicit in “Met Police” efforts to cover up the circumstances of Gerhard’s killing. Her actions in obstructing the release of evidence necessary for privately funded independent forensic review (which is heavily regulated to maintain independence) perverts the course of justice and denies Gerhard and our right to justice.
